Living a Jewish life is a process, a process of being schooled, of learning and re-learning, of accepting and rejecting, of wonderment and perplexity. As much as a spiritual and emotional journey, it is an intellectual exercise in dialectical reasoning covering all aspects of life, from the most complex to the most mundane. Jew Schooled is a place to ruminate about the traditions, rules, philosophies, and debates that affect all Jews, but especially Jews-in-the-making, like me. The writings I have put here reflect my interests and curiosities about Judaism and my struggles and challenges in being a Member of the Tribe.
